Keep your Google, Microsoft and Apple calendars in step

Your work calendar shows you free at 3 p.m., while your personal calendar has the school pick-up. CalAlign reads the calendars you choose and adds private busy blocks to the one people book you through, so a meeting does not land on a commitment nobody at work can see.

Free during early access. Your data is stored in Sydney, Australia.

Three calendars side by side. Physio and school pick-up in a personal Google calendar and a dentist visit in a family iCloud calendar appear as private Busy blocks at the same times in a Microsoft 365 work calendar.

How CalAlign protects your time

You stay in charge of every write. Nothing reaches a calendar until you have seen the changes it will make.

  1. Step 1

    Connect your accounts

Sign in, then connect Google, Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com, and iCloud. Google and Microsoft ask for your consent on their own pages, so CalAlign never sees those passwords. For iCloud you create an app-specific password, never your Apple ID password.

  2. Step 2

    Choose your calendars

Pick, from each account’s own calendar list, which calendars count as commitments and which one should carry the busy blocks. CalAlign starts with read-only access and asks for write access only for the calendar that receives the blocks.

  3. Step 3

    Preview, then apply

Before anything is written you see each block CalAlign will add, change or remove. A block is private, invites nobody and says only “Busy”. If you want more detail to cross over, you can choose to copy the title, location or description too.

  4. Step 4

    Stay verified

CalAlign reads its blocks back, compares your Google or Microsoft free/busy with what it expects, and repairs gaps. When a source calendar stops syncing it holds off removing blocks, so an outage never looks like a free afternoon. Each setup shows Verified, Degraded or Action required.

What else CalAlign does

Booking links

Share a link that offers only the times your chosen calendars can confirm. The meeting goes into your own calendar, and the person booking gets a private link to reschedule or cancel. If a calendar has not synced in the last 30 minutes, the link stops offering times until it catches up.

Conflict alerts

When something new lands on top of a meeting someone booked with you, your booking list flags it, so you can move one of them before the day arrives.

One view of every calendar

See events from all your connected calendars in one list, with each calendar’s last successful sync, so you know what CalAlign is working from.

A clean disconnect

Disconnecting an account removes every busy block CalAlign wrote and deletes the access it stored. For Google, CalAlign also revokes its access at Google. For Microsoft and Apple, it tells you what to remove in your account settings.

For organisations

Colleagues who sign in with your Google Workspace domain or Microsoft 365 organisation wait for an owner or administrator to approve them, unless the owner lets them join straight away. Administrators choose which calendar providers members may connect, and see the health of each connection without seeing calendar names, event details or the addresses of connected calendar accounts. Policy, membership and connection changes go into an audit trail that shows if any entry was altered.

Works with the calendars you have

Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com, and Apple iCloud Calendar. You keep using the apps you already use; CalAlign works behind them.

How CalAlign handles your calendar data

A calendar says where you are, who you meet and when you are at the doctor. We treat it that way. The full detail is in our privacy policy.

Encrypted access

The tokens and app passwords that let CalAlign reach your calendars are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, each under its own key, and those keys are protected by Google Cloud’s key management service. One internal service can decrypt them.

The least access that works

CalAlign asks for read-only calendar access first. Write access is a separate consent for the one calendar that receives busy blocks, and CalAlign changes only the blocks and booked meetings it created there.

No event details in logs

Event titles, descriptions and locations never go into our service logs, metrics or audit trail. The audit trail identifies people by a pseudonym, not by name or email address.

Stored in Sydney

The CalAlign app and its database run on Google Cloud in Sydney, Australia. Copies of your events are kept only while their calendar stays connected. Payment details go to Stripe, never to CalAlign.

Not for sale, not for ads

We do not sell your information, show you ads or use your calendars to train AI models. People at CalAlign do not read your events unless you ask us to, or the law or security of the service requires it.

Yours to delete

Disconnect any account from the app at any time. To have everything else deleted, email privacy@calalign.com, or ask your organisation’s administrator.

Pricing

NZ$10per user per month including GST in New Zealand.

US$6per user per month including tax elsewhere.

Stripe shows the price for where you are when you subscribe.

  • Each new organisation gets a 14-day free trial, and you need no card to start it.
  • Every active member of your organisation counts as one user. Add or remove people at any time, and the next invoice changes in proportion to the days left in the month.
  • Payments go through Stripe. CalAlign never sees or stores your card number.
  • Cancel any time from the billing page. Your organisation keeps read-only access, so you can still export or delete its data. If it stays read-only for 90 days, we email its owners and administrators 30 days before we delete its data.

CalAlign is free while it is in early access. The price applies once sign-up opens, and if your organisation already uses CalAlign we will tell you at least 30 days before any charge applies to it, so you can decide whether to stay.

What early access means

CalAlign checks your calendars every few minutes, so a change can take a few minutes to show up as a busy block. Booking links write the meeting into your calendar but do not send invitation emails yet. Some features will change as we learn from the people using it, and we will tell you before a change affects your calendars.
